The CTC offer LAMDA in Musical Theatre for individuals or pairs aged 6-18 years and the sessions include:
Vocal warm-ups | Breathing | Vocal technique | Expanding repertoire | Acting through Song | Rehearsing exam and festival material
The sessions are tailored to each individual student and are designed to increase confidence and develop vocal technique. Students will also explore characterisation and performance elements to enable them to present believable characters through song.
All students who take LAMDA examinations will receive a certificate and a written report explaining their grade and performance. Many of our students also enter local festivals for more performance experience.
Sessions are currently held on Monday evenings between and are taught by CTC alumna, Evie Capon.
