LAMDA (Musical Theatre)

The CTC offer LAMDA in Musical Theatre for individuals or pairs aged 5-18 years and the sessions include:

Vocal warm-ups | Breathing | Vocal technique | Expanding repertoire | Acting through Song | Rehearsing exam and festival material

The sessions are tailored to each individual student and are designed to increase confidence and develop vocal technique. Students will also explore characterisation and performance elements to enable them to present believable characters through song.

All students who take LAMDA examinations will receive a certificate and a written report explaining their grade and performance. Many of our students also enter local festivals for more performance experience.

Sessions are currently held on Wednesday evenings between 5 – 7.30pm and are currently taught by Principal, Bridie Horne.

Find out more information about the Musical Theatre exams, including objectives, levels and syllabus here.
